Welcome Fellow Traveler
You have arrived at TheDorWay a place and moment in time, a play on words, and a metaphor for standing at a threshold. TheDorWay offers a new beginning, a starting point, an opening, and an entrance into a life filled with choice. It is not by chance that you have landed here. You may be seeking knowledge, understanding, compassion, guidance, relief, or respite. You may be curious. You may be at a point where there has been sufficient intensity of pain, suffering, or drama in your life that you have had enough. You may be following a solid path, yet desire tools and skills to enhance your relationships and personal growth. You may desire to open your heart to the fullness of life. Whatever brings you here; you are most welcome to step into the inner sanctum of your empowered self and open to a world of possibility with me, a fellow traveler. I invite you to explore, learn about, and partake of the offerings. You will find counseling using integral therapies to align your mind with your heart and to allow the wisdom of your body and spirit to speak. You will find workshops to aid you in the discovery of your true authentic self. The Heartfulness Path is a practice and skill that guides and safely holds you as you explore your inner sanctum. Healing occurs when all aspects of the self work in unified harmony. It begins when you are in a safe place and feel comfortable enough to let go of rigid defenses and shields and thereby allow light and clarity to enter.
“There is a crack in everything, That’s how the light gets in.”
~ Leonard Cohen
By gently attuning to your process, I guide you through the maze of emotional turmoil, mental confusion, grief, depression, trauma, or struggle, giving you tools and support to empower the wisdom that abides within you. I specialize in relationship. The first relationship is the one with your Self. Cultivating self-love and being self-loving is a remarkable curative and restorative potion. Often abuse, trauma, diminishment, abandonment, addictions, injustice, grief, physical ailments, loss of mental and physical capabilities have fractured our knowing that we are divinely loved. These wounds affect our sense of self and consequently how we relate to the world. Self-love begets healthy self-esteem and intimacy. Intimacy is the key for relating to others in a deep and meaningful way. In couples counseling creating and fostering love and intimacy is a path toward wholeness for both the individual and the relationship. Conscious partnership where struggles are turned into growth becomes an exciting, rewarding and fulfilling adventure. I invite you to join me in discovering the richness of life; one with meaning, joy, purpose and connection. Cross the threshold and take a walk around.
